The pain, esp. at night, is horrible. i've never experienced the like. It burns in my "stomach" and gut - then up through my chest and in my back. This "pain/agony" lasts throughout the night (esp.) - I wake up, feel the dull-clunk of pain in gut...
What is this? It's happened to me during the past 2-3 months...Absolutely hurts...

This happens to me every other night. Acid reflux. Keep a bottle of tums near your bed. Eat two before you go to bed. If you wake up in the middle of the night hurting, eat two more and prop yourself up on some pillows so that your head is higher than your stomach. If that does nothing for the pain, I would suggest getting to the doctor as it might have progressed to an ulcer.

Hm, sounds like acid reflux. Something going on with your stomach and burning describes acid. Try and anti acid tablet and see what happens then. I know a fellow with these same symptoms and the doctor has him on some kind of meds, that appear to help. It could be a number of things.
I suggest you see a good doctor, run some tests and get a second opinion before deciding on any treatment.
Also if you eat in the evenings and say drink soda, coffee, hot chocolate etc within 4-6 before bed, dont. After say 6pm, do not eat anything more and only drink water or herb tea. See if this helps.
Diet is almost always the reason behind these weird stomach pains.

This could be a heart thing, a lung thing, or an anxiety attack. You have no way of knowing, but any pain in the chest EVER is something you get treated right away, especially with women because signs of a heart problem in women are more subtle and varied and therefore tend to be more progressed before you notice there is a real problem.

This forum is not the proper place to receive answers since we can only guess. Your doctor is the only one who can determine the exact cause. There are too many variables to consider and some guesses could be acid reflux, esophageal reflux, severe heartburn, angina, etc. This is why it's important to see your doctor to rule out any serious harm.

It could be anything from a hiatal hernia, esphageal reflux or my guess is you are having heart problems.

Please do not wait any longer. Go and have it evaluated.
