I would say.... no! and no!
You could live your life... pretending that you are happy... you could live a life of routine.. and thinking that everything is OK.. until will come the day.. then you realized what mistake you did... The problem is... why wait until then?
and if you are from one of those cultures that have arranged marriages... I am sorry for you.

When you marry someone you are in it for life. If this is the person that you want to grow old with than No if you are not in love with them you will not be happy. Loving someone is not even enough to keep you happy you must be "In Love"! I was married and I loved my husband however Love holds many different shapes and degrees of passion and depth's. I was not in Love with him and therefore I was not happy. We are now divorced.

Actually, I was wondering if it was possible to be happy,
marrying somebody that you do love. I would be happy with
somebody that didnt nag, smoke and drink too much. Oh, yes
and not want to spend a bunch of money that I dont have.
Come to think of it - I might love that person.

It depends on if you want to spend the rest of your life with someone you don't love. Will you be happy with that? Is that enough for you? It wouldn't be for me. I'd always be wondering what I was missing.
