I'm not really getting an answer to my question-I want to know what you think of John, the Earl of Rochester-what did you think of the character that he portrayed?

I thought Depp did a wonderful job portraying the character.

I'm a super-duper Johnny Depp fan. Saw the movie, didn't think a whole lot about it. I didn't really like his character; arrogant, full of himself, all that bit. But once again, perfect acting from the great Deppster himself.

The film was based on a real person. He behaved pretty badly but suffered for it.
