We are going to a nice restaurant for dinner and then to a movie afterwards. This guy has told me that he likes girly girls. Does that make a difference in what I should wear? Please help...I want to look really good!

First of all, please don't ever dress according to some man's specs. If you happen to also like dressing like a girly girl, then you should, but don't do it just because he said he likes that. OK, now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's pick you a date outfit.
What are you most comfortable in? Jeans? Skirts? It matters because the more comfortable you are, the more your true self will shine through, which will help you figure out if this guy is even compatible with you. If you go with a skirt, wear a knee-length A-line skirt in either black or a cute floral/striped pattern. Pair that with a cute, functional scoop-necked tee in either a bright solid color (with a black skirt) or a color that matches part of your skirt's pattern (if you went with the patterned skirt option.) You will want to bring a sweater because movie theaters get pretty chilly, so try and go with either a black cropped sweater or a jean jacket for that casual vibe during the movie. You can put this outfit with some sensibly high heels, maybe some high-heeled Mary Janes, or with some wedge heeled peep-toe shoes.
If you want to do jeans, grab yourself a pair of dark denim "skinny jeans" and put those with a long-ish "dressy" T-shirt (with some lace or detail on it) in whatever color you like, and put a cool cropped jacket over that. Wear cute ballet flats with that outfit.

Although you shouldn't change your still for a man..you still should at least try to please him while not changing your style. Wear something that you like and then give a little girly flavor to it, and if it doesnt work..then don't change it..
At the same time you want to wear something that says "I have a nice body" or at least something that flatters your curves and then you want something that says I'm not a slut..you still wanna be decent and appropriate..you dont want him to get the wrong impression..
So think carefully about all that has been said from everyone who has posted a comment and then go with your gut instinct!

No, you shouldn't dress like a girly girl if that is not you. Dress appropriately for the nights activities, sounds like dressy casual, and make sure that you are comfortable the way that you are dressed. Be yourself and if he doesn't want to go out with you again or something because of the way you dressed, then don't go out with him anyway cause he is stupid. (Unless he has high standards and is offended by the way you dress or something). Basically, wear whatever you will feel comfortable in and what won't cause him to feel uncomfortable.

Don't try to be somebody your not. If you don't normally wear girly girl clothes then don't start now. If your date really is a good guy he won't care what your wearing, he should like you for who you are not what you're wearing.
I would wear nice jeans ,with no holes, or a skirt. And a cute shirt that isn't reavealing.

Well maybe you should ask your date what he is going to wear.
Or wear something like a girly t-shirt you dont have to wear a dress but make it look like it with a nice t-shirt or top. And wear jeans if you want or a skirt or pants its up to you.

Where something nice. Dress girly IF and only IF youre a girly kinda gal. Dont dress girly just to impress this guy if it would be pretending to be something your not. If you dress girly for the date, then he'll expect it from you all the time. And that can only lead to a broken heart.

wow, a date. well, make sure its something you could get really comfortable in. Wear dress pants, and a nice top and cute blazer jacket (since it's freezing now). you could also wear skinny black pants with a nice decent top and cute jacket with sleek boots and a hint of makeup. make a nice impression by acting sophisticated like a smart girly girl. Not like a Paris Hilton type girly girl. boys like that better.

Girly-girl means he like a woman but not one that is superior to him. one the needs to be taken care of but not too dependant on him. He likes the nails done and the hair curled and make-up and perfum and leg-crossing and and and. Basically, if you are a tom-boy and crack your knuckles, pass gas in public, like to do things with the guys over the girls, etc., you aren't his type and if you aren't his type, don't try tobe or you will end up unhappy. Odds are, if you have to ask what a girly girl is, you aren't one. He likes a girly-girl, what do you like.

well good thing you came to the right person anyway if you want causual then ware a cute mini,hollister,abercrombie,ae,etc. sweater with a comfy cami underneath with flats or really nice shoes witha cute headband or half-ponytail or just leave your hair down and carry a purse that u can fit a cell fone in,makeup,wallet,and anything else you really need. or if you want dressy ware maybe a nice but not to formal dress with cute pair of hot shoes and do something nice with your hair and dont carry a big bag carry a small bag with the important stuff like wallet,cell,makeup,etc. Good LUck and your welcome
