I always wear this black hoodie and I like having the hood up. My friends said I looked like the grimm reaper. My girlfriend knew this and so whenever I'm in the mood I just say "Death needs love". Also, I go around hugging my friends because it grosses them out that they're being hugged by a guy and I say that while doing that.

My username is Norse for the beginning of End of the World. I chose it because Gotterdammerung wasn't available, which is the Germanic equivalent to Ragnarok. There are slight differences, but both refer to a battle among all the living creatures on the earth and the twilight of the gods.
There are many stories behind it. The best known, is an Opera by Richard Wagner called the Ring of the Nibelung, which includes the famous "Ride of the Valkyries".
JRR Tolkien ripped off the Norse Mythology of the Ring of the Nibelung(sometimes Niebelunglied or other variants) to write his Lord of the Rings, although Tolkien put a Christian theme to it.

Reuben is my bloodhound. We got him when Ruben was on American Idol. Both are brown and both sing, but Ruben(the singer) has a better voice. I was also reading a John Grisham book at the time and there was a southern judge named Reuben. Bloodhounds kind of seem to be a southern dog to me so the name seemed to fit.
Hubert is from St Hubert's hound. That was the name of the bloodhound in France because St. Hubert is the patron saint of hunters.

Actually I didn't. I made up one that I thought was good. But when I clicked on it I ended up being assigned this one that came from some old email address Yahoo knew that I had. I don't know what went wrong at selection time but I stuck with this.

My favorite character from a game called Metroid is Ridley. I named my dog Ridley and I used his name for my user name. The icon you see is a Metroid.

I thought of the National Enquirer's catch phrase "inquiring minds want to know." And sense this is a question/answer place I thought it was fitting.

I remembered a line I had heard in a song. Plus to me, semi-charmed means that I have my ups and downs like anyone else.

Mine is based on the pigeon English that my mom used all the time. Instead of calling my family and I by our names, she would just say "Lynnguys" (mainly if she was just talking about us). My BIL picked up on it and starting calling us that, too.
