STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT IT IS THE FIRST STEP

well just being you is all you need, but if you just want a new look I find that changing your hair can make a huge difference. Do not try to change your self to look like a stereotype, people can just see through that ... especially do not go immediatly buy at hot topic. For clothes you can be artistic and take what you have and make it something else. Don't cake yourself in make up, fun eyeshadow or eyeliner creates all sorts of looks depending on how you wear it. Like thick black eye shadow and liner sometimes scares people away because it makes you look unapproachable. But if you do anything at all,,, smile... it makes a hell of a diffrence

It IS important to be happy with the way you look, but I know how you feel and I went through that time in my life too.

Maybe a different hairstyle, hair color will help. Also, a little makeup can drastically change how you look too. You could always ask a friend for help on that one or go to a professional.

But confidence is important as well. Remember that.

Good luck!

Deal w/ it. The first step is to stop feeling so bad for yourself. Then get some advice from your friend. Tell them to be honest and they'll tell you what they think you lack. Try using some makeup and maybe get a new haircut.

This is every girl's problem. Even pretty girls get made fun of for their looks. Don't let it destroy you, but take care of yourself, too. You need a healthy balance between listening to people when they say your appearance is bad and ignoring people who just want to upset you. Good luck.

NEWSFLASH!!!
Pretty much everyone you run into hates their looks! I hate my looks!
Even preppy, popular people hate their looks!
It's just a stage you go through in your life.
Now, you ask what you can do to improve your looks. If it's your weight, go on a diet. If it's your hair, get a haircut. If it's your style, get a new style!
It's as simple as that.
