I've answered this question before and I feel compelled to answer it again. I agree with you on Clive Owen. He would've been a much better choice for Bond. I think Daniel Craig is a good actor, but he's no 007. He looks more like he'd play a villain in the movie to me, not Bond.

Really I don't think there should be any more James Bonds. I mean c'mon it's been going for eons!! But if you really must how 'bout a black actor for a change? Or a female James Bond is just as good. But no Clive Owens and no Rupert Everetts!!

I agree - Clive Owen would be perfect. He's got the looks and can carry off the rough cruelty of the character. If you've read the books you'll know what I mean.

It has to be Ewan MacGregor...he's suave, handsome, intelligent, witty and looks mischievous and innocent at the same time. ALSO he's a Scot, like Connery, the original and best Bond. Clive is too lumpy (he was TERRIBLE as King Arthur!)!

I'd have to give the nod to Gerard Butler. He's got the accent, stature, screen presense and the quiet confindence so necessary to become James Bond.

I always thought Huey Lewis, the singer would make a good James Bond but he's probably too old now.
