The Liberal Media shows all the negatives of Iraq, but none of te positives. Liberal media has headlines like: 2 SOLDIERS DEAD IN IRAQ, but in World War II, our media only showed the positives and that united our country. In World War II, more than 2 soldiers were dying each day, and we won the war. The terrorists see that our Liberal news makes us ununited, and that makes them stronger. If we lose the war, or withdraw, IT IS BECAUSE OF THE LIBERALS.

the simple answer is news has no business in wars. people dont want to hear the truth they cant handle it. Let the military do their job. News is a business, Just like any other business it needs viewers and what people want is death and destruction so thats what they get. this same thing is what lost us Vietnam. is anyone really surprised this time?

It's mostly because they parade out "solutions" that don't really work but appeal to the emotions. Like gun control. In fairness, conservatives do it too, trying to ban abortion. It leaves those of us who would like to know the facts and how complicated things like Iraq really are out in the cold either way. That's frustrating. I read an article the other day that pointed out liberals like to call themselves open minded, but they don't question their own positions and that makes them very closed minded. They appeal to people who want to simply feel good about themselves and let others do their thinking for them. The media is tailor made for that. I'd like to see what would happen if the moderates got hold of either party and kicked out the extremists. A party in favor of the right to own firearms AND a woman's right to choose could be unstoppable. But we're so polarized now that people are afraid to give up on a party that defends the rights they think are important, so I don't expect that to happen before pigs sprout wings and fly.

Its not liberals ununiting this country but all those conservatives with their religion views and wanting to spring this advanced country back into the stone ages. We have already occupied Iraq for a longer period of time than we fought WW II.
The United States is not divided because of the media, we are divided because we are not making progress in a war that is costing us severely in our reputation abroad, our influence abroad, the readiness of our military, our treasury, and most importantly, in American lives.
