Place a thermometer in your mouth(oral), under your tongue, under your armpit(axillary) or rectally. If it is a mercury-type glass thermometer, wait 2 minutes to remove it (glass thermometers are rare now though) If it is a digital wait til it starts beeping to remove. In humans, add 1 degree to whatever the armpit temp is and subtract 1 degree from a rectal temp. an oral temp is just as it reads. An average normal temp is 98.6 but can be slightly higher or lower. Any temp above 100 is of more concern. 104 or above, get to a hospital ASAP.

You just take a thermometer and stick it under your armpit. Then when it beeps just take it out and look at your temperature.

Take a thermometer and put it under your tongue, in your rectum or under your arm pit. You can also get a thermoscan thermometer for your ear.

Take a thermometer (can get them at local pharmacies) and place it either under your armpit, in your mouth, or in your butt.. dont think you want to stick it in your butt though! haha i work at a vets place and thats what we have to do to the animals! kinda gross! haha
