I have heard that taking glucasamine and Condroitin supplements can help ease the pain from Rhumatoid Arthritis? anyone tried this and does it work?

Yes, it helps a lot. My rheumatologist recommends double the label dosage for me. As long as I take it and a good multi-vitamin and a good dose of Vitamin-B complex, I am able to stay off pain meds for the most part. Without it, I cannot tolerate the pain.

Great to see this. Maybe I can convince my older sister with RA to try this. She claims that it only works for osteo-arthritis and not RA.

my grandmother takes it for RA. They are sold in a blend together, it's glucosamine/chondroitin, she takes one that has MSM in it too. It's best to take it in the evening, that's when your body repairs itself and this supplement helps.

Yes it works. If you add MSM (MethylSulfonylMethane) it is even better!
