Yes...I'm a cashier, and even if I'm dealing with someone who's rude or just cranky; who has decided that they are ABSOLUTELY not gonna smile or be nice, by the time I'm done charming them and smiling and being polite, they're almost always smiling and thanking me and wishing me a good day.
(asking them how their day is/ has been doesn't hurt either)

I've have several people like that leave my line and go straight to the manager to talk about it.

I've been doing just that. I saw a few answers that had thumbs down (they weren't stupid answers like I give) so I gave each one a thumbs up. They weren't best answers, but I didn't think they deserved a thumbs down.

I do it all the time and not just for "Best" answer but as many as I
think are good answers. One of my favorite "Best" answers was
picked by voters with 35 thumbs up votes.

1. Yeah. I always try to be positive online but some people who rate down my questions make s me mad at times.

1. yes, i try, but sometimes they do are the ones who make me cry. but i love to see people smiling.
