No, because you lie. We all lie every day, consciously or subconsciously, whether not to hurt someones feelings or to say we are fine when we are not, so if we were to say we were telling the truth to a lie, it would be correct, BEWARE PEOPLE WHO SAY THEY DON'T LIE, THE ONLY PERSON I EVER KNEW WHO COULD CLAIM THAT, WALKED ON WATER,
so when you walk on water, call me!

No. If you say you lie then you are definitly telling the truth always, because everyone has told a lie before sometime in their life.

A lie is a deliberate untruth if it's accidental then it's not a lie just a mistake.

Yes if you don't, no if you do.

If you don't lie, but say you do tell a lie when you lie, you just lied, so you are.

If you do lie, then that wasn't a lie, so you aren't.

yes you are. Here's why: "I lie" is a declarative statement to be assessed strictly on its content. It's merit goes beyond the scope of the statement.

This is the Cretan paradox.

All Cretans lie (say the Ancient Greeks).

If that is true and a Cretan says: "I am lying, ...."

Etc.

I am not lying right now when I say this question is pointless and that you will get a thumb down from me.

nah - what would be the point. most people lie to get out of trouble - not to create it.
