Shaq was better when he was with Kobe because during those years, he was on his prime. Right now with Wade, Shaq is already on the down side of his career. Yes he is still one, if not still the best Center around but like I said, he's not getting any younger.
All the hard fouls and injuries are now taking its toll on him and its not making him anymore agile than when he was with the Lakers.

They wont win 3 in a row in Miami but Shaq and Dwayne Wade have more to work with then Shaq and Kobe did so they might reach 1 or 2 more rings together. I would put my money on a young Shaq playing with Kobe as the better tandem overall.

With Kobe, Shaq isn't going to win an another championship. He told everyone last year that he will bring a CHAMPIONSHIP to Miami, but he never mentioned championships. Dwayne Wade is going to keep getting tired playing with USA during the off season and then coming into the regular season. Shaq is going to keep getting hurt with injuries. As you can see the Lakers and Kobe are going to keep winning, being a big threat in the West.

Shaq was better with Kobe, because he was younger at the time.
Now he no longer be counted on for 20-10 every night.
But Shaq did not win a championship with Kobe until 2000 (they began to play on the same team during the 1996-97 season.)
So it is not really apples-to-apples comparison.

ok that article is the icing on the cake for me. no longer only does Shaq choose for to play with Kobe returned, after the all celebrity wreck the rumors will start to fly some commerce. Or Shaq gets back next year for one very final hurrah and a shot at a ring as a Laker.

That's an excellent question, but I agree with you. It seems like that when Shaq was on the Lakers, it was his team, but now with the Heat, it's all D. Wade.

but u got to remember shaq was in his prime when winning 3 championships with the lakers but this is his 12th 13th season and age is catching up with him

well shaq was more in his prime with kobe than now, but if wade had shaq when he was in his prime they would have been better than shaq and kobe.
