OMG OMG your name says it all - your mum and dad obviously thought the 80s rocked, because you are named after the most famous ballad of the mid 80s - Kayleigh by Marillion. Assume you've heard it........

Having survived the 50's. gotten excited about the 60's, really amazed during the 70's, the 80's was very boring. Theyoung adults were just a bunch of bankers and accountants, heading out for their 3-martini lunches, and peeing in the wastebaskets at their desks, because they were too drunk to make it to the loo. Most of us were a waste of space in the 80's. However, the Happy Hour was really cool - if you bought a drink or two, you could fill up on really nice free food.

I have to say that your generation is one of the most interesting to have come along. Most of you are much cooler than you think, because you really do think! I look forward to the next ten years, because of you.

You didn't miss out on much. I think the best bit about the eighties was gaining teenage years, the music and of course my beloved purple and black horizontally striped jumper. I hated school, we moved from Northampton to Bedford in the worst move ever in my parents house options and then back again. My dog died and I was stalked. Not bad hey!

I was born in '85, so I only got to live half of the 80's. All my older friends/family members told me it was great...a lot better than the 90's!

You missed out on f*ck all. It was miserable in the 80s. Just watch the news reports! If it weren't for the relatively good music then we all would have topped ourselves.
