It had nothing to do with drugs. He didn't want to be know as steve forever so he quit. Fat good that did because that's all he ever be know for.

interestingly, Steve in simple terms did no longer desire to do Blues Clues anymore. He enjoyed teenagers, yet he did no longer desire to do newborn's exhibits for all his existence. He did no longer die from a heroin overdose or get fired for requesting a advance or regardless of. He in simple terms in simple terms left. :3
