Al-Quada is not winning the war, but they are beefing up their forces and trying new strategies.
Currently, they have contacted the MS-13 gang from South American to bring their guerilla's over the border. This would be a very bad situation for the US if they succeed.
MS-13 domestically is as dangerous as Al-Quada is internationally. Read about it in the link listed below.

No there not, really much of the country is relatively secure. You have about 150,000 Iraqi's in the police force. But natually your won't here any positive events sine the news is so biased they will only report on the American casualities. Look at the Yahoo ront page, An supposed Al queda big shot is mocking Bush, he says he wants us to stay their so they can kill more. And of course he mentions the DEMOCRATES. What a surprise. Why do so many Americans insists on helping our enemies.

During WWII the Japanese said the same thing right up until the bomb was dropped in Nagasaki and Hiroshima. After that they didn't say too much anymore. I've never heard of any war situation where both sides didn't tell everyone how they were winning in every way. Propaganda works and gets them more idiots to carry bombs into the public and blow themselves up. It seems incredible that any religion would sanction suicide and tell the people they will go to Heaven for killing innocent people. What kind of ignorant moron's would believe this?

No but they do feel like they just had a big victory with the election of the Democrats and they believe that the USA is going to be running home ASAP. I believe that they are in for a rude awakening, the Demos do not want to look as weak as the world says they are.

Definitely Alqaeda is winnig the war. for proof
According to the American news it has lost more than 2900 troops in iraq since it invaded iraq in 2003. So in approximately 1100 days (365x3) they have lost 2900. that means that about 3 troops daily die in iraq. But that is all according to the american new. But you see the world knows best that the US is not revealing the correct numbers of its casualities in iraq. You may say iraq also has lost hundreds of thousands of people. you got to know that they are not terrorist but civilians. the US has failed to kill the real Al Qaeda fugetives. take Usama bin Laden he is still in the wanted list. Why the international police still couldnt catch an individual since it possess the worlds powerful warheads.?
Remember that every individual in the US army works for a salary but the socalled terrorist dont have any worldy profit. instead they want to be martyred and go to paradise. you know the Mujahideen (so called terrorist) wish to be martyred as the US troops wish to drink alcohol.
Another proof for their loose is they are still fighting a war for more than 5 years in neither places they couldnt return because that would be meant that the US has lost. but the mean time the US cant bear all the burden so they handed up the course of Afghan to the NATO. but u can see that NATO is begging for more help. what makes the things more clear is They have brought AlQaeda to iraq who were not there in Saddam 's regime. that meant that the war has helped the AlQaeda to gain more power than before. Even many small groups has aroused after inspired by alqaeda.
Remember that Al Qaeda has the Most powerful weapon in the world that is Human Bomb. every member in Alqeda is ready to give his life to fight the US. but i can bet you that there is not a single person who even think of bleeding in the battlefield.
what Bush has made is, he has decieved the world that they are in iraq for a just course. he only wanted to pump oil. But now ended up in letting die his kids there.

When you ar at war, eliminating the man who is running the war against you is a great victory. The U.S. would have been thrilled to see Adolf Hitler or Tojo ousted in WWII. It is truly Al Qaeda's first great victory.
The Al Qaeda documents we recovered were full of information about Vitenamn. They are very much aware that America only has stomach for short wars and will give up in time. They have passed their first milestone.
