I was born in 1960 so I'm only 21. I never felt this way because I refuse to grow up. I would claim to be 17 because I had much more fun at that age, but you can't buy alcohol under 21 any more. You are only as old as you feel. Get out there and have some fun! I go roller skating every week. I'm not the oldest one there, but I may be the second oldest. Who cares? I use exercise as an excuse to go out and act like a kid again.

All mid-life crisis means is that one thinks back on their life and looks toward the future at the same time. We keep on living life to the fullest, is the bottom line.
We get older or die young, ya know??
Just get grateful, that's what it took for me to move past it.

Be thankful...and celebrate each and every birthday! They are blessings...many people never get to reach 40...some don't even reach age 4...so HAPPY BIRTHDAY early

Don't worry about it. Enjoy yourself. If you've got your health, you can't complain. Happy 40th!!!
