God does make everything happen for a reason, but its us that make the choice of what to do with those situations.... it was His choice for you two to see eachother, but the arguement wasn't His. Talking to your ex's ex, well He might have brought you two together for a reason, but it could be something different than what you and the ex chose to do with that time spent talking. Depends on what the conversation was about. God works in very weird ways, and in the end it always has to do with the love that He has for us. If there is pain, He is teaching us a lesson to learn from. If it is love then He is rewarding us. Maybe God was trying to remind you of what kind of guy your ex was??? You are really the only person that will be able to figure out what God's message was to you. Sorry I can't explain more, there was just so little to go on.

God had it perfect for Adam and Eve. God did not want them to be aware of suffering and pain. They did not respect God's instructions. Serpent put the seed of doubt into their mind and twisted His word...That is how Satan is dealing with people even today. And doubt is causing people not to have faith. Wrong decisions cause hurt. Hurt people hurt people. I heard this saying in church a couple of weeks ago and I swear and live by it. " God always leads us in the direction we don't want to go in" God gives us free will, but He also gives us a conscience so that we can stop and think before we sin. If you trusted God, then you wouldn't worry about doing evil acts because the Holy Spirit would guide you and give you strength. He does not stop us from performing evil acts. In the same way that He does not stop us from performing acts of kindness and love. We have free choice and are judged on how we use that freedom. So when it comes to your ex, choose wisely!!

I put my trust in God. I am here for His purpose. If I suffer, He has the whole eternity to make it up to me.

No, hon. We are not God's robots and he does not pull our strings like puppets. I'm sorry you had a confrontation with your ex, but each of you got into that confrontation on your own. Obviously there are reasons why you are "exes" in the first place.

Everything does happen for a reason. Maybe you and your ex aren't meant to be. May be your Mr. Right is just down the road. Trust and have faith.

Don't blame something that doesn't exist. I think you'll find it's down to your own decisions. Human nature - not a god.

God does not exist. You and your ex got into a fight because of things you have done/said or haven't done/said. Please accept responsibility for your own actions instead of blaming external powers.
