He should play every single ODI and test match India plays until he retires. Playing when he wishes will not do the team or himself any good like you said. See lack of international cricket caused him to get out bowled 3 times against Kiwis. When someone in that age,he should keep playing and working hard in training if you want to keep it up with young lads. Otherwise he is always not in a zone of comfort. You are damn correct on this "A player cannot perform to his full potential unless he is secured about his future. "

what the hell u r takin bout....no one will say that he should quit playin.remember if cricket is religion in India then sachin is god of cricket.just luk at his carrier u ll get ur answer.it's fine in Australia coz they have sufficient talent to replace neone but in India no one can replace sachin.

no 1 hes got da best record in odi and tests so India will keep him until hes like 40 coz of his amazing record.

I strongly feel that he should continue to play till the age of 35 unless other circumstances do not prevent him from playing.
