1. Dick Butkus, His size and frame scared most RBs away from him and he set the standard and showed how important the LB position was. Hell, he has an NCAA Award named after him.

2. Mike Singletary- Many tought his height was to short to play LB. Guess what....he proved all his critics wrong and became a force to be reckoned with on the Bears D.

3. Lawerence Talyor- A beast who wrecked havoc on O-Lineman and punsihed QBs and RBs into submission.

4. Brian Urlacher- Minus him from the Bears and they have a serious hole in the D, he is a definte hall of famer.

5. Shanee Merriamn- A rising star, who, if he doens't use steroids (i dont know if he has) than he well be one of the best...

I agree with Amin on Butkus, Singletary and Taylor, but I'd add Nick Buoniconti and maybe Sam Huff. Honorable mention to Andre Tippett. Shawn Merriman is too new to be on an alltime list and he is suspended for steroids--his defense was Sammy Sosa lame.

I don't know, but with an unbeaten record and one wherein I never even dropped a set before retirement, I reckon I'd have to rate as the best Doubles Wall downball player in history.
Also I held an unbeaten record from about 10 years old in Kick-to-kick Australian Football percentage of possessions.
Does that rate as the best in History??

Whoops! Don't ask me how I finished up here in American football!
