I agree with your statement, if not your language, but yes. MCR, Fall Out Boy, Dashboard Confessional, et cetera are overpromoted and overexposed bands, and hopefully this corporate pseudopunk, trendy emo and goth lite style of music will start to fade in popularity. I apologize if you enjoy their music, but that's my opinion.

Chances are, neither of our musical tastes are going to go away, so we might as well just agree to disagree and stop calling each other names. Can't we all just get along?? If you don't like what's being played on the radio, burn cds! Get XM/Sirius. If you don't like songs on people's MySpaces, delete them or just shut off their song. No need to call them emo fags or whores.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I'm sure I don't like the same music you like, and I think that's ok.
I'm sure that's not the answer you wanted to hear, and I didn't answer with bad intentions or to purposely tick you off, but I just wanted to say that. :)

I am not a fan of McFly, but I LOVE MCR.....and I'm not some emo fag, teenybopper, or punk wannabe. I will say that poseurs and teenyboppers have ruined the image of these bands. and some people dont take them as seriously anymore. but MCR is a critically acclaimed band who has touched millions of people and really saved them from doing stupid things. and I'm one of them. And who the hell u calling a whore. I take offense on people who diss them, because u dont know **** about them. why dont you stop generalizing people and go **** yourself asshole.

I have never even heard of some of those bands butt that probably means i agree. But if you go to www.myspace.com/syketv there is a bunch of bands there... they are all pretty much hard core...but there is some hip hop and other genres....
