Your parents have legal control until you go to court and become legally immancipated. A court may not allow it, because you are not self-supporting and are not legally married to your boyfriend.
Either he steps up to be a man and marries you, you get a job and support that baby.... or you go home to your parents.
You need to consider all of the ramifications if your boyfriend dumps you, Honey. It happens all the time!
Best Wishes,
Sue

This is kind of complicated. Short answer: no you are not emancipated.
Long answer:If you have a stable living situation, you are in school, and have a job of your own, DCF and the cops probably won't make you go back to live with your parents. If you move out, then your parent may call the cops. If the cops actually bother to come out to your house, DCF will need to get involved since you are a minor. DCF will send out an investigator, per Florida statute, to your house. IF they decide that you are in a stable situation, they will most likely leave you alone. However, if you are in a bad situation, they will make you move back with your parents or, if you refuse to live with your parents (or if they feel your parents are abusive, not supportive, etc.) go to foster care.
The point is that the Florida DCF system is swamped right now. They actually try to get 16 and 17 yr olds to be self sufficient when possible.
The main problem is that your bf can get into big legal trouble if your parents get ticked off and call the cops to have him charged. I am assuming he is 18 or older since you say he has enough to support you. Depending on his age, he could be charged with Statutory Rape. He could also be charged with Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor. These charges involve jail time.
Check with a lawyer, but in Florida you don't always have to be emancipated to live on your own once you hit 16. By the time you are 16 you can do a lot of things without being emancipated. Your situation is complicated, though, because you are a minor, you had intercourse and now you want to live with him, which is a legal grey area.
You can get emancipation 2 ways: One, a judge can grant you emancipation if you show you are pregnant (a doctor's note), that you can support yourself financially (show proof of employment), and that you have a stable living situation. Second, you can get married, which automatically makes you emancipated. Check with your county, but many counties in Florida allow you to get married without parental consent if you show the court a doctor note saying you are pregnant.
Overall, I recommend that you talk to a lawyer. The University of Florida has a special legal clinic called GatorTeam Child, and they help children become emancipated. You can call them and talk to them about your situation to get specific legal advice. They are free, of course, as they are operated as part of the UF law school. It is best to seem them in person, but if you can only call them and the person you talk to is unhelpful, just call back in a few days. Some of the people there aren't the most helpful, but others are. It is worth a phone call. It might also help to call DCF in your area to try to talk to a caseworker.
Be careful, and don't do anything until you consult with a lawyer or caseworker. Just remember, your bf can get in huge trouble, so think before you act.
Take Care, and Good Luck!!
Good luck, and make sure

You would have to go to a lawyer to get legally emancipated. If that is what you want to do, contact a lawyer for information on your rights.
Otherwise, if you think your parents would allow you to go with him and not disown you, there should be no reason for you to have to go so far. It could really hurt your parents who are just trying to protect you. Talk to them about it first. You don't ever want to lose your parents. Your own child should have them too!
Good luck and blessed be!

Unless you get an emancipation order from the court, you are still in the custody of your parents.

i would want you to stay with your parents they could better take care of you and your baby you never had to be responsible for a child befor your to young . but there have to be a good reason why the law would let you just move out with out having the proper traning at taking care of youself and your baby stay home and learn some skill at raising a baby first. this young man will still have to take care of his child. and if he care for you he will be there when your old enough to just move out of your parents home . good luck with that

unless a judge signs the order of emancipation, you have to do what the parents say.
