My dad lets my little brother play Halo with the grown ups online with him. He can beat alot of them. They hate it when my dad tells them "Hey dude, you just got your b--t kicked by a 5 year old!"

good for him. Those Halo clowns take themselves way to seriously. Tell him to keep it up and I am rooting for him.

Surprizingly one doesn't need great qualifications to run a daycare, I would suggest just taking care of him yourself, I nknow one more kid to hande, but at leas you can make sure he doesn't get hurt. I would suggest getting your parents to have a serious talk with the "teachers". That is unacceptable behavior in any seeting, both by the child, and the adults there. Your brother will be fine, and actually ice wont do much, all it does is slow the blood to the brain, making the waves of pain slightly more bearable, but I would suggest just making him as comfortable as possible. Don't be too concerned about the bruise, or the pain, all that is going on is that a few small veins were ruptured, and the blood leaked out, putting more pressure on the nerves against his skull, so yes it would hurt very much, and will be painful untill the blood is flushed out, so I would get rid of the ice pack, it is only slowing the process. Try to apply heat to his head insted. perhaps a warm water bottle or a hot pad. The veins have had some time to heal, so increasing the speed or pressure of thr blood flow will not hurt as much; what it will do, is clear out the blood trapped against his skull. You are such a dedicated sister.

I used to love watching my son playing Halo on Xbox Live and at LAN parties. It was weird knowing I was being escorted to get the flag by my 5 year old. Especially when he drove!

He had trouble with the Banshee though.. He'd forget about the game and just kinda' fly around with everyone yelling at him, running into walls and stuff.

Good thing I routed all the Xbox Live chatter to my headphones, and never let him hear it. I just relayed messages for him when they weren't being jerks.

It was funny though.. A friend invited him to play, thinking it was me.. They played team slayer, but from what I hear, my son got bored with sneaking around looking for bad guys, so he just picked a teammates icon and went after them.

He couldn't hear all the folks yelling at him, he just knew it was easier to kill folks on his own team. They all started leaving.

I came home later and went to play and I'm like holy cow.. what happened to all the folks on my friend list? I can only guess what kinda' feedback rating I got for that.

Anyways.. I'm pretty proud of him. He's not quite as good as me, but he's not half bad. Play a rockets-only or swords-only game, and he's a match for anyone. Sometimes at the Lan parties he'll mop the floor with all of us. It's rare, but it happens.

LOL ... I'm sure. My oldest when he was 5 was put into chess tournaments online on my account, and his opponents didn't take well to being told they just lost to a child.

My youngest is 5 right now, but happens to prefer Age of Mythology games. :)
