I need good ideas for healthy snacks for a breastfeeding mom. My baby has a sensitivity to dairy and chocolate also so none of that. Any ideas?

There are no certain foods you need to eat while breastfeeding.

Some snacks that are good and quick to grab:
apples
bananas
grapes
oranges
carrots
celery
peanut butter and crackers
pretzels
granola bars
protein bars
sunflower seeds
salads

You need protein and fruit and veg.

Keep some nuts and fruit in your nursing basket, along with some bottled water. (The odd cookie never hurt either).

A nursing basket is a must. Keep your snacks, water, a baby blanket, remote controls, books and everything you need while nursing all together. Because in the begining you can feel like you are stuck.

Make sure you have some good food in the fridge too. Yogurt.... um nevermind, goat's milk yogurt? Wraps and sandwhiches. Anything you can eat cold on the go!

cereal (just grab out of the box), bagels, nuts, fruit, carrot sticks. Cut up fruit and veggies beforehand so they are ready to go and you can grab them out of the refrigerator when you are hungry.

I love baby carrots, jello and any kind of fruit.

No peanuts!
Lots of fruit and veggies. Soy milk and soy yogurt smoothies.
