Any tips that Really Work ???? My BMI is 27.5

My husband has been alternating swimming and using an ellyptical machine three times a week since March and has gone from a 36 to 34" waist. He's lost 30lbs since January.
He uses the ellyptical on Mon & Weds mornings, then swims a mile on Friday mornings. I think exercising in the morning makes a big difference b/c it gets your metabolism up and running for the day.

get rid of the lovehandles and run a bit more..try running laps in the shallow end of the pool some people may look at you funny but it's great exercise the water puts a natural resistance on you.

I dropped from a 40" to 38" in 2 months and i'm still dropping....my doctor put me on a prescription of phentermine as well for 2 months to help and i stopped drinking sodas cold turkey i won't even drink diet sodas just water and 100% juices.

to be very honest... diets don't usually work unless you realize its a 'lifstyle' change. One good way to help yourself is to go one day, eat your normal meals/snacks, and write it all down. If its full of junk, or skipped meals... you know what you need to fix.
you should actually be eating 5-6 smaller meals aday. dont ever stuff yourself and dont eat too many carbs 2-3 hrs b4 bed.
oh, and exercise doesnt hurt. the more muscle, the faster you 'burn' fat.. hope some of this helps, if you already knew this, disregard.

Tone up the muscles in that area. You probably do not need to lose much weight--if any--just work on your abs, etc.

Running worked for me. I'd tried all and only that helped me.
