there's this person i have to deal with on a near daily basis - co-worker. she's this manipulative creature - i mean, if you don't really know her, you may just believe every word she says. the problem is when you actually have to work with her, and you get to see her exactly the way she is.
hard enough to deal with her schemes, she gets aggressive when things don't go the way she planned. not physicaly, of course, but she get into this tantrum, yelling at everyone, being rude. o, i forgot to mention that she resorts to lie.
and to add to the problem, i got the promotion she was after, so i'm always at her spotlight. and as she can't always get to me, she'll go after the other people that work with me. i actually had to stop her from firing people - on the basis of some hairy tale she presents the boss, and i had to quickly investigate and forward the truth (got me an evil eye from her!).
she's not going away - don't know anyone willing to give her a job, plus she's the boss's niece

dont mistake this women friendliness for something greater desirable than being friendly. im no longer likely to mislead you and say that she's fascinated with the aid of fact she probable isn't. (she must be nonetheless) your new to the class and he or she desires to make you sense greater comfortable and make acquaintances with you so as which you do no longer sense like an interloper nonetheless she might have an interest in you or maybe nonetheless she cant be with you with the aid of fact she has a boyfriend she likes being around you. your an merchandise of lust in her eyes. if i've got been you identity concentration on making a competent friendship along with her. talk over along with her greater and don't be shy to have a playful flirt its too early to tell what's going to take place yet once you flirt somewhat and get to appreciate her, there is often the posibilty of you 2 getting collectively :) good success xo

Wow, you are in a very bad situation. Just try to remain very diplomatic. You cannot get personal with her. Just try to be agreeable when possible.

Try to avoid her whenever you can. If you find yourself in the middle of a situation with her, try to avoid descriptive conversation. You may even try to approach the boss even though she is their niece. I have been in similar situations in the past. Since you just got a promotion, you may want to pursue other options. This new promotion will look great on your resume. If the situation is too bad, it might be in your best interest to get out while you still have a good reputation,.

That's a tough situation Rosa, but not impossible. 95 percent of the time people act like that when they are jealous. Have you ever tried sitting down with her and a mediator to discuss the problems. sometimes people don't know how they are being perceived until someone takes the time to help them. my advice would be to be her friend and treat her that way you would want to be treated if you were in her shoes. And find someone to mediate for you. I wish you the best of luck!

I agree partly with Phil C. However, if it is intolerable, you should just be honest with your boss.
The boss should want the niece to be a better behaved employee, because it is a reflection of her relatives who keep her there. Tell the boss your only concern is for the business to run smoothly and your other employees to be content.

There is nothing you can do. She is related. That is considered illegal in some institutions to hire someone related. Just be careful what you say and stay on your best observation post you can find. Watch her every move. Smile at her a lot but in a friendly way.

Good luck.

Record the problems she is causing and mention it to your boss that she is causing abit of disruption amongst the others and as she is related you do not know how to handle it, if the response from him is negative, let your colleagues know you have tried and watch what happens.if you are forced out you will have evidence of incidents for further action if needed.

To beat a bully and that is what she is>you need to show her in her own twisted way that you mean buisness. We all like a peaceful life but sometimes you have to show these a***holes that you can be just as horrible as they are.dont worry about the bos she probably knows her

level with your boss, aint nothing like the truth, either that, or you have to leave if you feel you can't stand up to her bullying, thats all she is. if they gave u the promotion to begin with, its because they feel they value your input more than hers in that division, i'd say thats platform enough for an honest talk.
