Me too. I'm 51, but grew up a tomboy & would still rather watch football than go to the mall. I've had 2 failed marriages, not that my lack of feminity was the main cause, but it probably contributed to it. I also competed with men (sucessfully) in almost everything I did. Some men find this emasculating. I've been living with a man now for 3 years who accepts me as I am. They are few & far between. He's a very tall construction worker. Good luck!- don't pretend to be someone you're not.

The right one for you! I don't think you could say what 'kind' of guy you should go out with because you're a tomboy, but maybe you should make sure you find someone who likes you for you and doesn't try to change you.

Always go out with people who are interesting and who find you interesting. Also avoid people who deal in categories like tomboy etc. My wife is so butch that it is a major joke in the family. She builds things and fixes the cars. Does not affect my identity in the slightly. Avoid stereotypes.

A manly man, because they're interested in the same things as you and you'll be perfect for them. You can play sports with them, watch sports with them, drink beer with them (I hope I'm not stereotyping you) And they'll like you because they wont have to hold your purse, go shopping with you, say you don't look fat in that dress. But don't be completely against dressing like a woman, because a woman who is to much of a macho, is a turn off for a guy.

Go with what you like. Maybe you will like the jock type. You can throw footballs to each other and build things together. I am gay and athletic. If I were straight, I think I would be attracted to Tom Boys.

Don't put yourself in a box, dearie! Mutual attraction will tell you who to date. Also, never assume certain men aren't interested in you. Keep an open mind for yourself. Look at how many couples seem like a misfit, yet they are totally in love.
