I don't know, but I love Joy Division. Is there a different meaning between Ceremony or New Dawn Fades, or any of their stuff.
Their album "Still", is one of the greatest rock albums ever in my humble opinion.
Its a shame Ian Curtis hung himself. I was not impressed with most of New Order's work. But I guess they could only hold on to the Joy Division intensity for only so long.

These were the last 2 songs Joy Division wrote, with Ian Curtis still alive. New Order recorded them both as their first single - the credit for writing is noted as being Joy Division. Ceremony was the opening track of their last concert, at Birmingham University, and on the set list it wasn't even named just put as 'new one'. There is a recording of this on the JD album still. the Heart And Soul Box set includes scratchy recorded versions of both of these songs which is what New Order originally used to discover the lyrics. Oh and Ceremony is one of the most wonderful songs you will ever hear
