Joe Crede is still a very young player. He is just coming into his own. To compare him to ARod's resume is unfair.
Crede can do something ARod can't though. Crede is an above average clutch hitter and a better fielder that ARod.
Crede hit a couple of big homers in last years playoffs. Thats called money in the bank.
Not taking away from ARod, but due to Crede's youth, I would pick Crede for my team over ARod, all day long.

Several Ppl won that award,Its not a win and lose contest,You didn't mention that.Derek Jeter,Robinson Cano,Manny Ramirez,
Carlos Beltran,Jose Rayes,And several others, Also won that award,Don't make this like it was a contest between two players!!
This is NOT THE JOE CREDE AWARD!! Do your homework first And mention all the players tha won that award not just JOE BLOW!! OH YEAH AROD DIDN"T DESERVE THAT AWARD THIS YR!!! HE PLAYED TERRIBLE!! Arod needs a wakeup call And i'm hoping this will be his yr,Don't forget last yr Jetter and Beltran were voted the most overrated players in sports ILL.that was a wake up call for Jeter,,BC So far this yr he won The Hank Arron Award,Golden Glove, now Silver slugger,NEXT MVP,Hopefully AROD WILL WAKE UP!!

Even though A-Rod's numbers were better this year than Crede's, Crede won the title because he had a career year and A-Rod has a crummy year, based on their respective standards. Pure and simple.

Yeah i know who Jo Crede is, i was actually hoping to Send Arod to Chicago for Mark Buehrle and Joe Crede lol. Kenny Williams was apparently ready to make that deal.

Joe Crede is the 3rd baseman for the Chicago White Sux. He's a VERY good hitter and a better all-around player than A-Fraud

looks like you touched a nerve on arods_1fa. NOT winning this award isn't gonna give arod a wake-up call. Arod has proven what he is. The only way he will "wake up" is when the Yankees pressure his agent to drop the "no trade" clause and he can be moved to a smaller market.
