A horse's eye is usually brown, with the whites hidden behind the eyelid unless it's scared. The amazing thing about horses eyes is that they have long flat pupil (like a sausage), not round ones like humans do. This allows them to see almost 360 degrees around themselves. It's a special adaptation for prey animals so they can see predators sneaking up behing them. This kind of pupil is also found in deer, sheep, goats, etc, and squids too!
