I'm not a wannabe emo, I am emo.
One of my friends told me about Bright Eyes and Cursive, and I really liked them. That is why I am asking about this. Also, I already knew about My Chemical Romance.

They may not all be techinically classifed as "emo," but I always considered them somewhat emo. If they're not emo, they're indie or alt rock :) I hope this helps you!

Hawthorne Heights is pretty cool, and I guess they could be considered emo. Some other bands are 30 Seconds to Mars, Taking Back Sunday, Three Days Grace, and My Chemical Romance, but I'm not sure if you would call their music emo.

I am not even emo, but they are like the best band ever omg listen to them they are amazing!!!! And Brendan Urie's just sooo hott :) (except I think you're a guy so you wouldn't care lol but oh well)
