He died of a massive heart attack..in his sleep..so he never woke up! so very sad..and almost unbelievable....

Gerald Leverts' death should have been on the front page. Not only was he a R&B soloist and a man of class, but this man was the son of music legend Eddie Levert. To the person that said Gerald Levert was not well known---He was in the music biz over 15 yrs and performed with Levert, LSG & had a dynamic solo career. That Federline-Spears drama is old news.

Well Obviously, he died in his sleep, but I think it was because he was a little overweight and the fact that he just got back from tours and performing in concerts .He probably was overworked and was having problems before and didn't think it was a big deal.So, as he thought that if he got some rest, it would go away, instead of just going to the hospital, he went somewhere where many people, like myself, would have never thought he would go for another 40-50 years.
When I found out about his death, I couldn't believe it, I refused to believe it. Because I grew up listening to him. Its like he was my neighbor and I'm losing a very close friend to the family. All thats left to really say is that I pray for his family for the best,and that God will bless them and keep them standing strong.
