Yes, they do. The last one executed in Ohio was very interesting. He received a last-minute reprieve so his "last meal" ended up being his next-to-last meal. After he had his real last meal, when he was less than two hours from death by lethal injection with no chance of it being postponed again, they made sure he got his insulin shot.

The last meal is a traditional part of a condemned prisoner's last day. The day before the appointed time of execution, the prisoner will be given the meal, as well as religious rites, if he or she desires.

In many countries the prisoner may have the luxury of selecting what the last meal will be (within reason), and the authorities do their best to provide a prisoner with the requested meal.

A last meal of (reasonable) choice is customary. For a while the Texas Dept. of Prisons published a list. I think their last list is still online, archived at http://www.thememoryhole.org

LAST I HEARD YES THEY DO NOT SURE WHY THOUGH WHEN THEY CAN GIVE THE FOOD TO NEEDY CHILDREN THAT WILL STILL BE "ALIVE"

yes in most states they can order anything they like for it, me I'd want Chinese food , from China!!!!!!!!!!!!
