Definitely Dallas and Phoenix are one of the biggest teams that aren't doing well. Dallas are the western conference champions, yet right now they have a losing record. Very dissapointing. Also the Suns who were the pacific division champions are on the bottom now. These teams better starting improving, because we all have those huge expectations.

Elite teams mean teams which carry big expectations right?

I only got 3. Phoenix, Dallas, and Chicago. Phoenix is certainly not off to a good start, 1-5, and Amare is benched for Thomas(crazy huh) and gets less than 25 minutes on the court, which really ticks me off

Dallas is no good either. They've been choking since the Finals. Dirk is still dominant yet his teammates look sluggish. I want to see the Devin Harris who beat the Spurs big men last year.

Chicago? Everyone's expecting so much of them, and everyone thinks a team with Ben Wallace and Tyrus Thomas is an almost unbeatable team in terms of defense. But guess again, they really have great D, but offense looks so shabby. Anyway, at least they gave us the 42-point blowout of Miami.

You wondered why Miami is not on the list? I'll give them some time, if they dont win at least 4 in 10 games, they'll be on my list soon enough.

pistrons, curently thay are 2-3 last year at this time they were 5-0 they had the best record last year so they are obviously an elite team, they may have lost the wort free throw shooter ever (Wallace, B.) although he was 2 time defensive player of the year it is not a significant blow to the pistons fanchise to drop them out of the elite teams in the east, they have lost games to teams who were under .500 last year so they are definitly off to the worst start of al the elite teams in the east along wiht the west

The Phoenix Suns for sure. @ time MVP Nash, Marion, Stoudemire, Barbosa, .... i mean this team should be one of the top teams in the NBA let alone their division. it's a joke. i love the suns and will continue to watch them. despite their slow start they WILL be in the finals.
