i am flying from honolulu to salt lake city, which is a six hour flight. what are some good movies to pass the time?? would i have enough time to do the lord of the rings trilogy?

Reds was 4 hours long (or just over 4 hours long) so if you're into seeing a Warren Beatty political movie from the early 80s (or late 70s?) you could try that one--it would cut down on you having to bring a whole bunch of movies with you.
Other good movies to watch:
Shawshank Redemption
The Green Mile
Million Dollar Baby
Final Destination trilogy (come to think about it, probably not good on a plane)
Harry Potter movies

I would say something like Titanic (that is 3 hours long) You have the right idea though, the Lord of the rings is about 3 hours each and if you haven't seen them I highly reccomed it, also Harry Pottet, that was pretty damn long too. Have a good flight!! :)

I will really recommend to see Lord of the rings on your journey. But I don`t think you will get enough time to see the trilogy.
