Communications is the degree that I have. I am in Marketing it is pretty fun. My sister is also a Communications major and she got into advertising. She has been all over the World to film commericals. Communications can also get you into radio broadcasting and production or television broadcasting and production. You can do Public Relations, you can do Human Resources. You can get into journalism, you can get into electronic media, ie internet stuff. You can be a copywriter or someone who writes commericials or magazine ads. You can get into media buying where you actually place ads for companies. Communications is a pretty broad degree. There are literally dozens of things you can do with it. I hope this helps. Take care and good luck.

Yes, public relations, radio, tv...it's a very general course...you can do a lot of things with it. If you are looking to make good money, then radio & tv is not where it's @...unless you're Howard Stern.
Radio (for instance) starts out about $6-$7 an hour for a small station where college grads start out. Now, my former station was also an NBC affliate & the reporters just out of college started out making $7 an hour. Seriously. Most of them had their parents foot the cost for moving them to town & pay half if not most of their bills...and most got 2nd jobs as babysitters to help as well...so if you're parents are up for paying for your moving cost & helping you for even more years, then you're ok. Most ppl I know max out making about $18,000 a year...which is nothing to brag about.
I love being creative, but I chose to make radio a hobby for me...I am now a Paralegal Studies major...& completely content with that. Hope this all helps...good luck :)

you're in collage?? (college). Real careful for your resume. Anyways, radio stations around here always seem to be looking for advertising recruiters (something like that). Drug companies hire people to promote their products. I think you got some real cool possibilities. Good luck. lol.
