I get really really angry. Seroiusly. My blood boils. However, I've put a lot of miles between him and me in life. I'm married to a wonderful man and I have a lovely baby boy. But after all this time, old memories still bother me. My ex-fiancee did some really terrible things to me, as did his family. But I have it so good now. How do I get over this and forget the past?

I've been there...it is not easy but you must force yourself to let go. To continue to let the experience occupy your mind is harmful to your mental health...as well as your physical well being.
Take advantage of your present situation...you have a wonderful panacea already in place. Instead of dwelling on the past, count your blessings instead. You are very fortunate. Whenever those negative thoughts enter your mind...immediately divert them to the wonderfulness of what you have now achieved. Many of us have encountered injustices on many levels in our lives...some so horrible and deep that recovery is almost impossible (for example a person serving time in prison for a crime they did not commit).
You have been fortunate to have risen above yours. You now have a choice...either to enjoy what you have to its fullest extent, or dwell in self pity and continue to let the past dominate your present existence.
If I seem harsh, it is not my intention. Once you start diverting those negative thoughts with good ones (like think of some of the most pleasurable moments with your darling baby boy)whenever they enter, it will become easier to put it behind you.

Do you ever all carry out mutually or is it strictly them one on one? because you're both couples, why not all carry out mutually? then you'll all grow to be friends and also you'll more effective see once you've something to rigidity about or not. in the journey that your fiance adamantly refuses for all of you to loiter round mutually, then i might want to get very suspicious. i have been with my modern-day bf for 4 years, and that i have exes that I communicate over with the following and there, honestly not daily. i might want to experience incorrect doing that. i favor to spend my time with my modern-day guy, not previous ones- I already had time to attempt this. i don't experience something romantic for any of them, yet I evaluate them friends, and friends purely. My bf has not something to rigidity about. yet, all of those bfs were from many years in the past. I do imagine that is a touch unusual, not that she communicates with him, yet how a lot she communicates with him. If their bond replaced into so tremendous, why did they split and flow on? And the shown truth that she doesn't favor you speaking for your ex.. nicely, if that is so innocuous that that is okay for her to do it, why does she not favor you doing it? it really is a conceivable purple flag. attempt the putting out ingredient, see how she reacts and flow from there. base line, once you're uncomfortable, that is an difficulty. And it desires to be addressed. that is someone you're going to spend something else of your existence with. are you able to manage the ex if she's not prepared to grant him up or assist you in on their friendship?

I suggest you either seek therapy or try some anger management classes. Hate does nothing good for ones body and soul. Do you want to age prematurely?

You may want to go to a therapist - it can't hurt, only help.
