so i like this guy. The thing is that he is my best friend. I feel like i shouldn't like him cause that would just make it awkward. I used to like him last year and everyone knew including him, so i stopped liking him. Now i like him again. What do you think about this. Should i like him or not?

You can't help who you like. But dating him is different. It really depends on the people on whether it will work out or not. Just be prepared to loose him as a friend too if it don't. Otherwise friends can make the best relationships cause you already know each other and have seen them at their high and low in life.

You can't decide like that whether or not you like someone. It's not a question of 'should' you like him - if you do, you do. End of story. I like my best friend (a guy) a lot; it's caused me nothing but trouble, I have to tell you. To be fair, I haven't actually told him outright that I like/love him, but I'm thinking I will have to, sooner or later. It does make things awkward, but it could also be the basis for a great relationship; in any case, I don't think you can really 'decide' to like someone or not. If your heart tells you that you like a person, then that's that. At least, in my experience! Good luck... Hope it all works out for you.

sure! there isn't anything wrong with that, yeah it is awkward but I've liked ALL my male friends so don't worry about but if you two do have a relationship and break up don't stop being friends because not only would you be loosing a boyfriend that would be loosing a friend to so think about that! but good luck plus the best boyfriends are you friends!

If you ask me, that's total crap. You can't just stop liking someone cause it doesn't fit in with the situation. If you can just switch it off like that then you didn't really like him, maybe you just wanted to because it would be cool or something. But if you really like him then it's not a question to whether you should or not, then you just do. Then the only question is, does he like you back the way you like him or not.

Yes, if you like him . Date him if he is interested in you. Just be prepared. If he is truly your best friend he knows all your tells. That is to say he knows when you are B.S.ing him. So if you like to play mind games with your boyfriends don't do it you will mess things up. But if you can be straight with him and not play head games then you might have a chance. I speak from experience. I ended up marrying my best friend. It is cool because he knows me so well. But sometimes it is hard because he knows when I am full of B.S. and he is not afraid to call me on it.

I am dating my best friend, we have been dating for almost a year now and everything is going great. So tell him how you feel. It might just work out. You never know.

i liked my best guy friend 2. we went out for a week and then we decided to stay friend so our friendship could last longer. and it worked. it's been 3 years and a half and still best buds!! buts ok if you like him.

i just broke up with my best friend after about 2 months and it isnt that awkward...actually it makes it kinda easier cause u already know him nad now we are even better frineds

Well you can't really help how you fell. I suggest you take a long look at your attraction to make sure its not lusts. After doing that give him hints about your attraction.
