Thank you for making me laugh for the first time in ages!
You've highlighted something I have definitely found annoying before but must admit to doing it myself sometimes by accident, well, actually, laziness because I can't be bothered to pronounce the word properly!
Keep the observations coming its hilarious!

Yes, it does. I'm continually amazed at the lack of education in supposedly educated areas! If you want to be REALLY scared, though, look at the people who are 'home-schooling' their children to give them a better education! brrrrrrrr shivers down the spine!

I live in the north. Some ppl here say "tree" instead of "three" and "dare" instead of "there," and add "ain't it" at the end of a sentence for no reason.

It used to bother me, and some little things still do, but after you hear them over and over your entire life, you just get used to them. I have a friend that says "WARSH" instead of wash......I have to laugh to myself every time I hear it!

I live in the south, honey, we don't have time to correct the way people speak! That'd be a full time job!

It may be that they have a speech problem or they may have never been taught how to say it right.
Maybe if you nicely say, oh its said like this or if they are doing it on purpose you can tell them how you feel and ask them not to .
