first off the original shipment is 400,000 units and they will sell out immediately nationwide.
second there will be no price drop anytime in the near future.
to answer your question, I have no Idea when you should start, call the store and see when the earliest is that they will allow a line to form and get there then.

Why in the hell are getting it the first day? It's going to be $500 minimum and they only made 500,000 which are probably going to sell out in about 1 week. That means, just in time for Christmas, they are going to release more at probably up to $100 cheaper. But whatever, it's your money. Personally, I'd wait until they release a newer version in about 6 months after they find out what is wrong with the first 2 batches, then you'll have a more reliable system and it'll probably be about $150 cheaper.
