I've been with my husband for 18yrs,and married for 10.
I have never had an affair either.

Been there, done that... Some people are just hard wired to need more variety in life. All of that "death till us part" stuff can be so boring. Just look at how many people say that and then after a while they meet someone interesting and start a destructive affair behind the partners back.
Many divorces is called "Serial Monogamy" in some cases. A good alternative may be what is called Polyamor. That allows a couple to be married, but also to see others in any way that is agreeable to all parties. That may be seeing someone else as platonic friends only, flirting and dating only, or everything up to and including sexual relations with a boy or girl friend.

Hmmm, well Britney's 25 soon but she still hasn't beaten Elizabeth Taylor, who had two divorces and another fresh marriage under her belt at the age of 24 (only to be widowed at 26). So close but no cigar, not quite beating the grand Dame odf them all yet!

Like a lot of people in her position,she thinks that the world revolves around her,the first sign of any problem or disharmony in the marraige and its off to the divorce court.With this girl,a little taste of the real world would give her a bit of sense and maturity.

I've done a few Britneys in my time. Some were better than others, but that's not what you're asking.
I'm divorced, but it wasn't my idea.
