I took my old wireless router down. It was a Linksys Wireless G router. Hook up Linksys Wireless - N fast speed. Turn on my notebook . Works great for about 2 0r 3 hours then i lose the the connection. I get a box that says " trying to find ip address" then i have re connect. Hook back the old router. Works great stays connect. What is going wrong? Hope you understand

Sounds like the router is defective... I had that happen to me with a extreme G D-Link router. Try returning it and see if you can get another one. N works just fine on my Belkin one from Costco.
