Well, I'm not a boy, but I'm going to answer the boy question because I don't ever remember liking carebears.
My favorite was the pink ranger. I always wanted to be that one when we played power rangers at recess, and I usually got to be because my name was Amy and so was hers.

Dragon had a big green plush Carebear, Lucky. She loved him very much.
Dragon liked Power Rangers too... Prolly the red one cuz Dragon likes Red.

I liked the green bear and the pink power ranger...as owned by my various stepchildren. I'm a little old for them myself. I was an Addams Family girl!
