Someone keeps calling my cell phone when I'm at work, they left a voicemail message looking for Graham. My voicemail already says my name (which is not Graham)...is there anything I can record onto my voicemail to politely make it clear that I am the only one they can reach at this number?

I had this problem. Some cubans kept calling for a Michael. I guess either this guy gave out a wrong number to some chicks at a bar or something. Really fing annoying. "Hi, you've reached Carrie's voice mail, not only has my name and gender changed, but so has my entire life. Please leave your message after the tone, and if I happen to remember you, I might give you a call."

Needless to say, the calls stopped.

I have had the same thing happen to me on my home phone. I finally changed my message to "Hi you have reached 252-***-**** the home of Melissa ****. If you are trying to reach Melissa **** then please leave a message after the beep. If you have dialed this number thinking it belonged to someone else OR you miss dialed please hang up now.....thanks so much......***BEEP***

No more problems after about 2 more times of her calling and getting the same message...and believe you me I tried it all....I left messages saying "Hey you who is calling I don't have caller ID so I can't call you back to tell you this phone doesn't belong to the guy you are calling so stop calling me" to actually cutting the answering machine off.....the message above believe it or not is the only thing that has worked. Everyone of my friends and family that hear it think it's neat.

Hope it works for you.

If you get a chance to answer your phone when they call, then just say "No, sorry, there is no Graham at this number." Otherwise just wait for them to stop calling. Good luck.

Answer your phone and tell them that you are not that person. If they keep calling after that then its someone that wants to mess with you.
