I wrote it about my crush.
You opened me up
when no one else could
You made me like water
when i felt like wood
You made me believe
impossible things
You made me walk water
and fly with new wings
You make me feel special
like no one else can
Don't know whether this is conicidence
or some secret plan
You're like my angel
My guiding star
I feel I can call on you
wherever you are
You make me strong
To fight all the fears
Or when I am down
you wipe away tears
So when I'm alone
and feeling deprived
I'll remeber you
and know I've survived.

Your dream is very positive. You're lying back watching the clouds just as you are watching the events in your life go by. Everything has clarity and definition, and there is variety as well. I notice all of the answerers, except 1, so far have been female. It must strike a chord with ladies then. Fairly unusual for a female to write an overt anthem of love to a male; you use the word 'you' a lot in the poem. Women mostly tend to write poems about their own emotions and use the word 'I' and ;my' a lot. So congratulations, I think it is a heartfelt and well conceived piece of verse. Show it to him! Go on , dare you.

This is a very good poem and you should try and get it published a lot of magazines will pay for that or have a look on the net for competitions in poetry their are many about and enter it.
You could almost here a song in it and was heart felt and meaningfull. I almost hears Westlifes "You Lift Me Up" song in that. Be careful people may copy and use it as their own.
Well done and do not give it to him just yet try chatting to him first it may just scare him off if you give it to him.

This is a really nice poem, you can tell that it has come from your heart and that's what poetry is all about.

You say crush, but it is so lovely it sounds more like first love. Get someone to put it to music and you will have a No. 1. Keep on writing poetry and in future years we can say that we spoke to you on Yahoo Answers when you published your first poem on that site.
