NOT SHOPPING, NOT GYMNASIUM, NOT PUB OR CINEMA
i was thinking of getting up quite early and want to go somewhere to freshen my mind.
any ideas?

Well, as someone has already suggested (and i agree 100%): If you can - go to scotland for a day trip! It's beautiful! Edinburgh is especially wonderful leading up to christmas. Great old fashioned streets to wander around, secret passageways, dungeons, castles, gardens, awesome food etc. Or, if that's too much, find the nearest BIG hill/mountain, grab your boots and go for a climb. Nothing beats the fresh air and spectacular views from way up on cloud level. It's pretty inspiring and encouraging once you get to the top and look how far you've come.

How about an art gallery? Got any nearby?
Whenever I feel I need my mind freshened, I go and look at something beautiful.

I'm not sure where you live but if you are anywhere near Derbyshire go for a walk in the hills. Castleton in the Hope Valley has some cracking walks that always make me feel much better.

I'm going to buy a new battery for my bike then lay down some rubber round the country roads. Wanna come? Or, while I'm out you could come round my house and clean my aquarium for me.

yeah go fishing, it can be both relaxing,and exciting, you can go with mates and make a day of it or go on your own and contemplate life in peace. if youre competative try a match, you never know you might love it.
