When I was fifteen I bought a pair of DCs for £35 ( have you heard of them, Vans were expensive, but my DCs were beautiful! ) I still have them, but I don't wear them because they used to be this pale blue suede but that got a little dirty and stuff.
I got a pair of converse sneakers a few years ago too, and they had graffiti down one side and I drew on the other side and had all my mates writing nice things, and apparently they were famous! One of my friends heard a girl on the bus talking about them!

I'm 54 and wore Vans,for years as a kid,'cause it was the surfer thing to do.Keds blue deck shoes were way more comfortable,but Vans were the coolest.

I feel the same way about my blue Champion sneakers. If I could I would were the all year round. They can't be worn in bad weather such as rain or snow.
