Maybe talk to your parents and/or a counselor at your school so they can check it out and be the ones to get involved. You need to do something.

If she is your friend when she gets hurt it hurts you right? I would suggest you write a note to the counselor or school principle in your school the next time she comes to school with bruises on her. You don't have to tell your name, but tell the situation and drop it off as soon as possible. One of those beatings could end up taking her life. If it is as bad as you think. Good Luck and GOD BLESS!!!!!

You can annonymously report abuse. You an call the local police department or child welfare center (which you can find in the phone book) and you don't have to give your name or anything. You can also go to a teacher or principal and explain to them that you don't want to be named or get involved. But PLEASE do! This is an awful situation. And although she may be ticked off at you at first, she will come to realize that this is the best thing for her, and will get her and her family help.

Tell a teacher now. The teacher will take it upon themselves to notify the proper people and the situation will get investigated. The teacher will also understand your position and how you want to stay out of it. You need to talk to a teacher or guidance counsellor as soon as you can.

You must tell someone, regardless of whether she tells you not to. Tell your teacher or your school counselor AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Why should she have to suffer another day? Be a good friend. It's not ratting her out, it's giving her support since she can't get help herself.

Give an anonymous call to the police or to Childline. They will not reveal your name, and they will investigate further.
