When the cable company hooked up my internet they left the cable sitting in the middle of the floor between my dining room and my living room, not only does it not look good, it's a tripping hazard. Any suggestions on how I should go about covering it up?

bring it over to the wall and staple gun it to the floor at the wall right by the floorboard. If there are any doors that the cable has to go by, bring the cable over the door, and staple it to the door frame. If the cable isnt long enough, just buy a longer one, theyre cheap. They also sell covers that go over them to try to cover them up that you can probably get from best buy. Thats what I did when I had the same problem

There are long vinyl strips that are just for that purpose. They are tapered at the edges with a hump in the middle. Underneath there is a slot for wires. I would think that either an office supply or home repair store would have it.

Here is an example from Ace Hardware:

Call the company and complain. If they refuse to send someone else out to deal with the problem contact Good Housekeeping magazine. They are good at getting companies to offer refunds or getting them to fix their screw-ups.

Break the floor and hide it under the tiles. If your building skills aren't good enough, cover it with a rug.

some body didn't do there job. call and demand to talk to a manager. I would not let the same guy come back, cause he is going to be ticked off.

Rip out everything he did and either run the wires under the house or through the attic.

Tell them you want it fixed at NO CHARGE and if they don't you will complain to the State Attorney General.
