Always look left and right when crossing the road. Was Charlie the boy though, or the cat?! Cos the cat just made this dead cute miowwww type sound...totally cute! Didn't he have a fish hanging out his mouth too? It's bringing back memories, I was only about 5!

Look right, look left, when crossing the road , it was along those lines. Grown up a bit since the advert was out, and now have a 5 year old nephew named Charlie. He reminds me so much of the cartoon kid !

He had an engine and he sure had fun

Always tell your Mummy if you go off somewhere....Never talk to strangers....Dont play with matches....Keep away from water etc etc etc. Bring back these public announcements, they're a national instituion of their own accord.

i used to be a t.v star telling that boy how to cross the road....my career went into decline till i signed for a record label and did my "charlie says " bit now my career has gone into decline again..........do you think i should change my repetoire and do something different?
